A MESSAGE FROM THE PUBLISHER

2024 marks the 50th Anniversary of Blueboy® — the first nationally and internationally distributed gay men's magazine!

Due to issues stemming from the pandemic, our relaunch was delayed several times as a result of factors that were outside of our control. This affected our 2022 publication date and our ability to have it in the hands of our customers in 2023.

I appreciate your continued support along this journey — and excited to announce that Blueboy® celebrates its 50th ANNIVERSARY with a golden commemorative issue available DECEMBER 2024.

A portion of the proceeds benefits The Blueboy® Archives & Cultural Arts Foundation — an LGBTQ+ 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization committed to the preservation and promotion of Blueboy® archives for historical, educational, and research purposes.

The Blueboy® GOLDEN 50th ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE ISSUE features editorials, artwork, fashion layouts, short stories, interviews, vintage Blueboy® archival content, and a male nude pictorial — reflecting upon our rich legacy and resonating the 'golden era' of gay life during the 1970s.

Each Blueboy® GOLDEN 50th ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE ISSUE is a numbered copy in a limited edition of 2,024 copies. Once this edition is sold out, we will place the original work copy into the BACAF archives.

Online versions of the magazine will not be available. We made this decision in order to evoke the nostalgic thrill of what it was once like going to the newsstand and purchasing the the latest copy.

All customers who have active pre-orders will receive a beautiful copy of the Blueboy® GOLDEN 50th ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE ISSUE.

Your order of our iconic magazine serves as a commitment to supporting the ongoing work of Blueboy® Archives & Cultural Arts Foundation.

Love and Appreciation,
Miss Tiger
